Data is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AES-256 at rest, while unique user IDs, two-factor authentication, role-based permissions, automatic session timeouts, and detailed audit logs help prevent unauthorized access. Continuous infrastructure monitoring, routine risk assessments, encrypted backups, and documented incident-response procedures further protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of health information. 42 CFR, Part 2 Compliance

SeeInMe is designed to support compliance with 42 CFR Part 2, which provides additional confidentiality protections for certain substance use disorder records. The platform helps organizations protect these sensitive records through role-based, minimum-necessary access; consent and disclosure controls; secure, encrypted data exchange; and comprehensive audit trails. Protected information is not transmitted through standard email, and external integrations use authenticated, encrypted connections. Together, these safeguards help clients manage Part 2 records responsibly while meeting applicable privacy and security obligations.
